At this time in 2 weeks, my legs will be totally spent and the Boston Marathon will be complete with a new PR (Hopefully). Running has been good. I have ran a few semi hard 5ks lately. I know I am not in 5k speed shape but man a 5.30 pace felt relaxing. I know this is a good sign. Hopefully the weather will turn out in the runners favor. That really dont matter though. I think I am prepared for it all. Wind, rain, hot temps and cold ones! People keep telling me, "its cold in Boston", I dont care folks. I ran a hot marathon (70s) and a cold one (-8 wind chill factor). 2.45 is still the goal. Got a dress rehearsal next week and the racing shoes are broke in. Lace up and toe the line, thats all thats left :)
